Lindsay is founder of ls /events, a consulting and contract event planning company. Lindsay is an expert event professional with over 17 years of experience.

Before starting her own company, Lindsay’s most recent role was Senior Director of Events at Y Combinator, the most prestigious start-up accelerator in the world. While at YC, she spent 5 years planning and executing incredible programs for the world’s best founders and alumni network. She worked directly with Michael Seibel and Garry Tan to create and execute events like the batch retreats and alumni reunion weekend. She built out YC’s investor receptions, community events and revamped Demo Days at the iconic SF Masonic.

Before her time at YC, she was the first marketing events hire at Mixpanel and spent 5 years building and leading the first marketing and events experience team. She built out their very popular in-person monthly events series, its first field marketing program, company retreats, and created their first webinar program.

Before tech, she gained her deep knowledge of the event’s industry from the inside as Senior Event Managers at Starwood and Marriott Hotels.
